ABG is Tanzania’s largest gold producer and one of the five largest gold producers in Africa. We have four producing mines, all located in northwest Tanzania, and several exploration projects at various stages of development in Tanzania and also Kenya. We have a high-quality asset base, solid growth opportunities and a clear strategy to optimise, expand and grow the business.

Currently all of ABG’s mining operations are in Tanzania, with regional offices in London, Johannesburg and Dar es Salaam.

Producing mines
At present we have four producing mines, all located in the northwest of Tanzania. These are Bulyanhulu, Buzwagi, North Mara and Tulawaka.

We currently hold land packages in Tanzania and Kenya, around the major gold-mining projects of the Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt, Tanzania and over the highly prospective Ndori Greenstone Belt, Kenya.
