In the space of just a decade we have become Tanzania’s leading gold producer. Across the whole of Africa we rank as a Top 5 producer.
We have four producing mines, all located in the north of Tanzania, together with several exploration projects at various stages of development.
One million ounces per year
Our high-quality asset base and clear strategy puts us in a strong position to deliver a key objective: to deliver one million ounces per year by 2014.
We aim to achieve this goal by:
- optimising production from our existing asset base
- growing through near-mine expansion and developing advanced-stage projects
- growing organically, and through acquisitions, in Africa.
