The project
Golden Ridge is about 55 km north of the Buzwagi operation. It gives an important opportunity to exploit a higher-grade gold deposit as satellite ore feed to the Buzwagi mill.

The opportunity
- In Q1 2011 we announced an initial open pit mineral resource totalling 679Koz @ 2.85g/t Au.
- This consisted of 527Koz @ 2.94g/t Au Indicated and 152Koz @ 2.52g/t Au Inferred. This validated earlier work investigating the potential to truck Golden Ridge ore to the Buzwagi mine.
Forward Activity
- Further infill drilling programmes are scheduled to upgrade ‘Inferred’ resources to ‘Indicated’, and to further increase the overall in-pit resource.
- Further exploration drilling will target higher-grade shoots on the margins of the current pit design to delineate additional resource ounces, particularly between the northern and southern zones of the main pit. We are actively progressing the feasibility study to decide whether to move the project to execution phase.
